About the Item
This piece emerged from an array of hyperbolic strings. The 3D spatial geometry is mesmerizing and similar to a 2D Mandala. The central geometric piece is 3D printed in nylon which is very strong and tough. It is mounted to an inner tension ring with stainless wire and can be rotated thru 360 degrees relative to the outer ring. These are hand crafted and polished stainless steel round bars. The central piece can be painted any number of colors as well as the bronze tones seen here. Be sure to specify a preferred color e.g. silver, black, white, bronze, copper, etc.

Lyle London grew up in Hawaii and graduated with a BA Cum Laude from Dartmouth College. His fine art sculpture strives to embody the alluring mystery of the natural world. Spiral geometry is a prevailing theme and is explored extensively in artworks over the last 20 years. He has created many large scale public art works as well as hundreds of smaller works and commissions for private placement. Clients include health care facilities, universities, hotels, and cruise ships, and municipalities. He was the founder and principal designer for an architectural metals and design business for over 25 years. 3D CAD provides a platform for his creative process in designing and engineering his work.
