About the Item
Contemporary bronze sculpture on marble base by Polish artist Stan Wysocki. Artwork comes from limited edition of 8. Sculpture depicts female figure filtered through geometric, synthesizing style. Artist uses patina very consciously as an artistic tool - color and texture is different in some parts of the artwork.
Due to being from natural material, marble bas may have some imperfections

STANISŁAW WYSOCKI (b. 1949)
Wysocki studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań (1978-1980) and then at the Hochschule der Kunste in Berlin under prof. J.H. Lonas. He received his diploma in 1986. During his studies he worked in the sculpture ateliers of Herman NOACK Bildgieserei and Pery Green.
The artist took part in numerous solo and collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad. His works were presented in Germany, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Great Britain and Turkey.
In 2001 he received the Cultural Award of Silesia.

Stanisław Wysocki
Stanisław Wysocki was born on August 15, 1949, in Ełk. Wysocki studied extramural studies in the Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Sztuk Plastycznych from 1978–80. Then at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin under Professor J.H. Lonas. He received his diploma in 1986. During his studies, he worked in the sculpture ateliers of Bildgießerei Hermann Noack and Perry Green. Wysocki took part in numerous solo and collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad. His works were presented in Germany, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Great Britain and Turkey. In 2009, Wysocki received the Wrocław award and in 2011, he received the Silesian Cultural Award.
