About the Item
Sara Fine-Wilson's "Tousle" is a gestural 13 x 10 x 8.5 inch ceramic sculpture in white and cream with accents of grey and blue. It is constructed out of white stoneware with porcelain slip and glaze in a graceful fluid form. Individual slab forms in white are assembled and then layered with porcelain slip and glaze in a way that emphasizes raw cracked quality in contrast to a smooth fluid quality. Blue and grey glaze accentuates the form.
