About the Item
Judi Tavill
Judi Tavill is a visual artist with a studio based in New Jersey. Tavill achieved swift success as a fashion and textile print designer. She left her career in fashion to pursue her art interests in 2002 and after delving into various mediums, she found clay in 2003. Tavill ‘s pottery and studio ceramic work evolved over many years and she experienced a following of valued collectors. Tavill returned to academia to work sculpturally with ceramics, drawing and other mediums as a post baccalaureate graduate certificate candidate. She virtually attended UMASS- Dartmouth during the pandemic, completing her graduate work in the spring of 2021. She considers her journey as an artist to be an ongoing adventure in exploration, discovery and awareness.
