The poster was created by Pacific Telephone who was an official sponsor of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. This limited edition original is on fine textured paper and does not require linen backing.
The Olympic Torch is a modern invention inspired by practices from ancient Greece, the Olympic Torch Relay heralds the start of the Olympic Games and transmits a message of peace and friendship along its route. First used at the 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics,

Original linen backed World War I vintage poster. Tonnage built in American ship yards tripled after the U.S. entered the war. Poster shows a riveter using his wrench to bolt the steel plates of the hull of a ship together. Until the 1930s, when arc welding was introduced, bolts were secured by hand. Standardization speeded production. Make every minute count for Pershing.
