About the Item
Realized by an anonymous artist under the pseudonym of R.L. Delechamps, La Bible Noire is considered one of the masterpieces of XX century pornographic art.
Though it states to be printed in Paris in 1921, it was probably issued in Berlin in the same year, in clandestinity as the Editor name (Edition Private's) suggests.
The real rareness of this collection of prints is not represented by the official edition of 300 copies: most of them were probably destroyed within a few months or years after publication.
Some plates are printed in green, each one is signed by the artist in pencil.
This copy is in free sheets, each in very good conditions with a very fresh and clear sign.
This artwork is shipped from Italy.
