Charles Lapicque
Charles Lapicque (1898-1988) was a French painter and printmaker known for his significant contributions to the art world, particularly in the realm of abstraction. Lapicque's work evolved over time, beginning with figurative painting and eventually transitioning towards a more abstract and geometric style influenced by Cubism and Futurism. Key aspects of Lapicque's art include his use of vivid colors, dynamic compositions, and a sense of movement that often characterizes his paintings. He was also known for his experiments with light and shadow, creating works that play with perception and spatial relationships.

Veronica Botticelli, Italian Artist , "Io sono qui" 2019 Mixed media on paper
By Veronica Botticelli
Located in Paris, FR
"Io sono qui" 2019, Technic mix on paper
Signed on the back
Not framed
In 2018 Veronica Botticelli is one of the 222 emerging artists worth investing in. She was selected by the most prestigious curators, critics, journalists and art galleries
Veronica Botticelli seems to have frozen the image and now she presents it on structured backgrounds of large fields of color, on which she intervenes by applying paper that then becomes one with the canvas. Whatever the medium, sheet, canvas, ministerial envelopes, the works of Veronica are in the form of palimpsest, they are made of accumulations, erasures, presence, absence and speak with force of painting and painting. a resolutely contemporary painting.
She has chosen this object precisely because of its strong poetic message, making it the custodian of memories, both personal and collective, in which we mix the nostalgic thoughts we have as we gaze at a work that suggests to us the enchantment of a lost past.
Veronica Botticelli currently lives and works in Paris.
Graduated at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome. She began working in 2004 taking part in "Cortilarte", an exhibition held at the Casa della Letteratura in San Lorenzo. In 2006 she won the first prize at the National Contest of Visual Arts, organized by ANMIL and INAIL , held at the Palazzo della Cancelleria in Rome. In the same year she held her solo exhibition Ateliers d'Artista at the library in Villa Mercede in collaboration with Fondazione Pastificio Cerere. After participating in several collective exhibitions in 2010, Fabio Sargentini supervised Veronica Botticelli's solo exhibition "Un Quadro Nel Teatro" at the Galleria L'Attico in Rome. In 2011 she held an exhibition at the L.E.S. Gallery, CSV Center in New York City. In 2012 she was among the young artists chosen to enter the 5th edition of the Premio VAF with a traveling exhibit at the Stadtgalerie in Kiel; the Museum Biedermann in Donaueschingen; CIAC Centro per L'Arte Contemporanea, Castello Colonna in Genazzano.

"Night Views" Silkscreen Print by The Skyscape Artist, 25/100
Located in Soquel, CA
"Night Views" Silkscreen Print by The Skyscape Artist, 25/100.
By Tetsuro Sawada ( Japanese, 1933-1998)
This raven black geometric abstraction focuses on hard-edged horizontal lines, color, and light, giving the impression of dusk through the "bokashi," or shading, technique, which is most difficult in the silkscreen medium, a good example of Sawada's theme of the infinite beyond, the silent emptiness of the universe. Signature in the bottom right corner reads, "T. Sawada '87," titled in the bottom center, "Night Views," and numbered, "25/100," in the bottom left corner. Presented in a new white mat. Paper size: 34"H x 22"W, Mat size: 39"H x 27"W
Born in Hokkaido, Tetsuro Sawada (1933-1998, Japanese) graduated from Musashimo Art University where he majored in Western painting. In 1960, he began painting abstract oils...
