Norman Barr recorded his beloved New York City from the Bronx, to Coney Island, to the Fulton Fish Market.
Although Barr was on the Mural Project of the New Deal, and not the Printmaking Project, his lithographs were made at the NYC WPA Printmaking Workshop. This print, Fulton St. Fish Market, is from an edition of 10 and is both signed in the stone at the lower right, and signed, titled, dated, and numbered, in pencil.
