This rare and collectible poster by David Hockney was part of a series of three billboards commissioned by the Metropolitan Opera in New York City in 1981. Designed specifically for the production of "L'Enfant et les Sortilèges," the poster showcases Hockney’s vibrant and imaginative style, influenced by a Picasso exhibition he attended. The production was part of a triple bill that included Erik Satie's ballet "Parade" and Francis Poulenc's "Les Mamelles de Tirésias"​ The title of the piece is "L'Enfant et les Sortilèges." The artist is David Hockney, and the work was created in 1981. It was published by the Metropolitan Opera in New York.
