1978 'Mozart Predella' Serigraph Framed

1978

About the Item

This impressive large screenprint by Don Nice was created for the Lincoln Center’s Mostly Mozart Predella program. In this artwork, Nice skillfully depicts a sequence of musical objects: the metronome, trombone, music sheets, and a bouquet of flowers. Each element tells a part of the story, starting with practice represented by the metronome, followed by the music sheets, leading to the actual concert, and culminating in the reward of flowers, symbolizing appreciation and celebration. Printed in 1978 for The Mostly Mozart Festival, this silkscreen print is framed in a polished aluminum frame, featuring a front profile of 1/4 inch and a side profile of 1 1/2 inches. Please note that the print has not been examined outside of the frame, preserving its original condition. This piece not only captures the essence of musicality but also serves as a striking addition to any art collection, celebrating the harmony of music and art.
