About the Item
This contemporary white-on-white print by Susan Collett is one of a kind. Here the exquisite, detailed image of tree branches appears to have a textural quality. The Canadian artist is known for her superb ceramic work which is often inspired by natural form. Collett also studied printmaking and favours the monoprint process which allows for only one unique image to be made. Edition 1 of 1. Framed.

Susan Collett graduated with a BFA in printmaking and ceramics from the Cleveland Institute of Art and won the institute's prestigious Agnes Gund Memorial Award. Collett is a member of the International Academy of Ceramics and the Royal Canadian Academy of the Arts. She is a recipient of the Winifred Shantz Award from the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery. Susan Collett's work can be found in numerous private and corporate collections.

Susan Collett
Susan Collett studied printmaking and ceramics at the Cleveland Institute of Art. She is a past winner of the Winifred Shantz Award and an elected member of the International Academy of Ceramics as well as the Royal Academy of the Arts. While exhibiting throughout North America, Collett has also participated in several residencies, including the Sanbao Art Institute in Jingdezhen, China, 2003 and Fuping, China, 2007. She has had several solo public exhibitions, and her work is in a number of public and private collections.
