Edition of 10: 24 x 30 inches frame (18 x 24 inches print size) Raised in the Pico-Union Central Area of Los Angeles, KARLOS MARQUEZ has been contributing to the local LA art scene since 1983 when he created his first Graffiti Art pieces with friends under the name “Kartoon”. In 1985 he joined K2S (Kill 2 Succeed) graffiti crew as one of the original members. He continued to develop his style by studying art at Los Angeles City College and Associates of Art in Sherman Oaks where he studied life drawing and full figure drawing with Mark Westermoe. Due to his keen eye for detail and his polished technique he has collaborated with some of the most prolific Graffiti artists and artists in the world including Joe “Prime” Reza and Kris Cunz.

This artwork titled "Bell Towr, Lecce" 1999, is an original archival pigment print by noted American photographer and artist Jenny Okun, b.1953. It is hand signed, dated and numbered 2/10 in pencil by the artist. The image size is 20 x 40 inches, the paper size is 26 x 46 inches, framed size is 28.25 x 48.25 inches. Custom framed in a metal silver frame, with white backing. It is in excellent condition, the frame have some very minor rubs, barely visible. About the artist: Jenny Okun is an American artist and filmmaker who travels the world in search of unusual beauty. Her artworks have been shown in more than sixty international exhibitions and in numerous private and public collections. Commissions have included the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Tate Modern, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. Craig Krull describes her artwork as “large-scale color photographic abstractions. Okun distills the essential qualities of form, texture, color, and detail into one layered vision.” Her earlier two books, Dreamscapes and Variations, show artworks of architecture, landscape, nudes, and art.
