About the Item

Ellsworth Kelly Germigny, 1973-76 Lithograph with Debasing on 300-gram Rives BFK Paper 34 x 41 inches Edition of 16 Signed, Numbered, and Dated Germigny, created by Ellsworth Kelly between 1973 and 1976, is a striking lithograph that reflects Kelly’s signature minimalist aesthetic. Printed on 300-gram Rives BFK paper, the work features a dynamic composition where color and form interact in a bold and fluid manner. The technique of debasing—a method of altering the surface of the paper—adds texture and depth to the print, further enhancing its visual impact. Part of a limited edition of just 16, each print is signed, numbered, and dated by the artist, emphasizing its exclusivity. With its expansive dimensions of 34 x 41 inches, Germigny exemplifies Kelly’s mastery in creating visually arresting, yet simple compositions that engage the viewer through pure color and form.
