About the Item
The bodegones are a pictorial interpretation based on a research project of the famous chef Juan Carlos Franco, on old food recipes of different periods in history. The photographer recreated the images inspired by paintings and images from these eras, also finding inspiration from artists such as Leonardo DA Vinci, Albrecht Dürer, and others.
Each image by photographer Dora Franco is accompanied by a detailed, visual description of the moment, light, and colors of the scene. Franco always observes how light touches things, how it beautifies and shadows them. In her exploration of everyday life, the photographer discovers magical moments that aesthetic information allows her to highlight, resulting in an enhancement of the beauty of the object or person she photographs.

By Kevin Krag
Located in Miami Beach, FL
For this body of works, Krag incorporates live and dry flowers, vines, moss, air plants and ocean driftwood creating botanical instruments that seem to touch on contrasting themes of vitality and decay. He creates breathing and dying objects deeply connected to the passing of time, stilled lives contemplating mortality and the brevity of beauty and life.

Too much confusion. Color Photograph of a Assembled Sculpture
By Kevin Krag
Located in Miami Beach, FL
In the mid 1970s, Chuck Taylor sneakers started showing up on the feet of underground rock bands. As much as jeans and guitars, Chucks became part of the rock and roll look. They had a powerful allure and became a fashion icon for anyone with arock and roll sensibility. This piece is an homage to the simple,
cheap, and let’s be honest rubber and canvas Chucks.

Here I come again. Color photograph of a assembled guitars body sculpture
By Kevin Krag
Located in Miami Beach, FL
In the NX Series, Krag uses guitar necks as the space to recreate the score of a rock and roll song that brings strong personal memories. He marks the notes with nails in the guitar’s fretboard and weaves color threads among them to represent the song’s flow. The guitar as an acoustic object does not exist anymore. The object is a soundless fragment of a broken instrument that — through a mnemonic image of the placement of fingers — is referencing a sound the viewer recreates in his mind.

Red Maple and Peony Seed Pods in a Historic Brass Cup
By T.M. Glass
Located in Montreal, Quebec
Based in Toronto, Canada, T.M. Glass is a digital artist whose practice explores the historical, technological, and aesthetic conditions of photography to stretch it beyond its traditional definition. After studying sculpture at the Ontario College of Art and Design and turning to photography as the primary mode of production, Glass discovered rapidly advancing digital technology that made it possible to render a high degree of depth and level of detail as a celebration of nature.
While Glass’s painterly photographs and the 3D-printer sculptures have the appearance of an easy kind of naturalness, they are the result of detailed planning and hours of painstaking manipulation. A single work may demand months of production time.
Stemming from a deep, personal engagement in horticulture, the primary subject matter became the persistent allure of flowers. Glass pairs flora from renowned gardens including England’s Royal Lodge, India’s Rambagh Palace, and Quebec’s Jardin de Metis with historic vessels...
