About the Item
My work immerses itself in the vast ocean of existentialism, sailing among the tumultuous currents that drag us towards the very essence of our being. The duality inherent in our existence is the main theme in which I immerse myself: the primitive essence that beats in the depths of our being, and the constant search for transcendence that elevates us
to spirituality. Hence, animals are the protagonists of my works, they are the metaphor of our human animal.
Through my paintings, I invite the viewer to go in and confront the questions that lurk in the shadows of our consciousness. Where does our true essence reside? In the dark abyss between sex and death, between the animal drive and the search for meaning, lies the unfathomable mystery of our own humanity.
