Stunning California landscape of a small reflective pond with tall trees, big boulders, and ducks rendered in crisp detail by Luke Stamos (American, 20th century). Signed "L. Stamos" lower right. Displayed in a rustic giltwood frame. Image, 20"H x 16"L. Luke Stamos graduated from San Jose State in 1960 with a B.A. in fine arts. He is a wildlife/landscape artist, focusing primarily on the area in the remote back country of Santa Clara County behind Mt. Hamilton. He has had two one-man shows and his work can currently be viewed at the Los Gatos Museums Gallery in Los Gatos, CA.
