During the late 60's and early 70's his colorful art reached millions of people and he won numerous major awards for his work. Painted at the hight of summer in a stuffy room in london, missing the flat fields and sea breeze of summers growing up in norfolk. there's a car i really miss too. nostalgic but not in any way a sad painting. more a celebration of that life and time.
