About the Item
Nancy Pellatt's "Last Glorious Light" is a western landscape that captures an awe inspired depiction of a Grand Canyon sunset at Brahma Temple, as seen from the North Rim of the Canyon. A California Condor gracefully flies around the Canyon. The variations of burnt umber against the clear blue skyline evoke a sense of tranquility in this landscape. The depth of the canyon and the diagonal angle of the plateau create a captivating perspective, engaging the viewer with the artwork. This western landscape of the Grand Canyon offers a daily source of peace and contemplation.
