Created en plein air and highlighting strong blues and greens with the rich shades of lavender blossoms, yellow wildflowers, and red poppies, this landscape features the bold colors and textures of the Venezuelan/American artist Maria Bertran.
The artist splits her time between Provence and Laguna Beach in California, working entirely on location and from life to create impressive depth and authenticity in her work. She obtained her BFA from Washington University in St. Louis, and has her work in collections on six continents.
