Vibrant cool colored landscape of Norwegian Fjords by Bay Area artist Lucette Barth (American, 1894 - 1986), circa 1960. Condition: good, three minor tears professionally repaired (see images). Unframed. Image size: 24"H x 36"W.
Lucette Barth was a well known artist in the Walnut Creek, California and was a member of the Rossmoor Art Association participating in numerous shows.

Vibrant autumn landscape by Japanese artist Tamiko Oberholtzer (1928-2016). Signed "Tamiko" in the lower right corner. No frame.
Tamiko Oberholtzer (Japanese, 1928-2016) was born in Tokyo, Japan and later moved to the United States after meeting her husband, David Maurice Oberholtzer, while he was stationed in Japan during the Korean War. Tamiko and her husband arrived in California by ship and then made their way to Indiana by car to her new home in Bowling Green, Indiana. In addition to her artistic talents, Oberholtzer was also an excellent musician, seamstress, and gardener. She passed away in November of 2016.
