In the Garden of Ebeneezer Goode - Los Angeles Hillside in Mid-Century Colors
Located in Chicago, IL
Pat garnered international attention in 2012 when a time-lapse video showing the painstaking production of his Manhattan skyline drawing, Empire State of Pen (2012), went viral. Since then, he has become something of a cityscape specialist, producing large-scale works such as Colossus (2015) and a range of new pieces created for clients such as MGM Park in Las Vegas and Gensler Architects. Pat has recently collaborated on a book with Björn Ulvaeus from ABBA, making drawings in response to stories about his life and has just worked with legendary Podcaster, Roman Mars (99% Invisible) on his first book, which was a New York Times Bestseller. Pat has also established a creative relationship with the Iconic British fashion designer, Sir Paul Smith, painting a mural for him in NYC and will be working with him on multiple London projects in 2024. Other past clients have included Apple, Tiffany's and Co, BMW, Ian Happ (Chicago Cubs), RIBA, IDEO, BMW, Pentagram, Washington Post, NIKE, Adidas and British Airways. Patrick...

The Comic Wood Duck- Photorealistic Portrait of a Duck on Pink Backdrop, Framed
By Rick Pas
Located in Chicago, IL
Taking a cue from celebrity publicity headshots, artist Rick Pas presents us with "The Comic Wood Duck". The duck takes on human characteristics, as if laughing at the camera, its colorful plumage set off by the pink backdrop. This piece is framed in a simple black frame measuring 15 x 15 inches. Rick Pas The Comic Wood Duck acrylic on panel 12h x 12w in 30.48h x 30.48w cm RPA018 ARTIST'S STATEMENT Creating is an addiction. With all the highs and lows you would expect. I am interested in the surface textures and creating paintings that portray them in realistic detail. Hopefully a viewer will feel they can run a hand over the feathers and moss, or grasp an object in the painting. This detail is usually composed in an abstract design. The design can occur naturally or be arranged by me. It Is Right, It Should Be So, Abstract Expressionist Landscape
Located in Doylestown, PA
"It Is Right, It Should Be So" is a 44 x 56 inches, original, abstract landscape by American master colorist painter Al Lachman. The artwork is a gallery wrapped canvas, signed "Lachman" in the lower right. The artist puts his thumb upon the pulse of life and records it. In that mystical beat lies the unknown, and he would but make it known. Being both, innovator and spectator, he exists as an intrinsic part of that rhythm. Each painting begins with a premise, and I rarely use the same one twice. It is based on what I see and what I am feeling at that moment. I do not think that painting is about technique. It is about a particular perception of the world around us. The premise creates the periphery of my intent. It is a limitation that gives birth to the creative forces within. - Al Lachman Born in 1936 in the Bronx, NY, Alan Lachman...

Landscapes of the Soul and of the Mind XIX , Abstract Expressionist Landscape
Located in Doylestown, PA
"Landscapes of the Soul and of the Mind XIX " is a 44 x 56 inches, original, abstract landscape by American master colorist painter Al Lachman. The artwork is a gallery wrapped canvas, signed "Lachman" in the lower center. It is part of the artist's series "Landscapes of the Soul and of the Mind". The artist puts his thumb upon the pulse of life and records it. In that mystical beat lies the unknown, and he would but make it known. Being both, innovator and spectator, he exists as an intrinsic part of that rhythm. I try to approach each painting with a minimum of predigested information. I look at the world with the natural curiosity of a child, always looking for unique qualities that each new moment brings. Talent, I believe, is found in the ability to take risks, and with that in mind, I am continually willing to risk it all every time I paint. The most exciting paintings, for me, are the ones that balance a bold fresh approach with the sensitive and subtle workings of the heart and mind. - Al Lachman Born in 1936 in the Bronx, NY, Alan Lachman...
