Ahzad Bogosian
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Ahzad Bogosian holds both BFA and MFA degrees from Fontbonne University and was enrolled in the MFA program at Washington University. Channeling the Midwest and Western landscapes as sources for his mood-rich paintings, Bogosian has developed an extensive and breathtaking body of work. According to Bogosian, “My work is a response to the atmospheric, sublime qualities and spiritual essence that exists in landscapes. Using memory sketches and photographs, I paint on canvas, wood, and paper to explore scale, brushwork, and my emotional response to these images. I see timelessness in the work. A sense of tranquilly and serenity in this digital era.” A co-founder of IN/Form, a not-for-profit arts group in St. Louis, Bogosian has also organized and curated many shows and exhibitions, such as Five Views of the Midwest and the 2012 exhibition Paper at the Regional Arts Commission Gallery in St. Louis. His work is in many publications, including New American Paintings and John Driscoll’s 1998 book, The Artist and the American Landscape.

Pat garnered international attention in 2012 when a time-lapse video showing the painstaking production of his Manhattan skyline drawing, Empire State of Pen (2012), went viral. Since then, he has become something of a cityscape specialist, producing large-scale works such as Colossus (2015) and a range of new pieces created for clients such as MGM Park in Las Vegas and Gensler Architects. Pat has recently collaborated on a book with Björn Ulvaeus from ABBA, making drawings in response to stories about his life and has just worked with legendary Podcaster, Roman Mars (99% Invisible) on his first book, which was a New York Times Bestseller. Pat has also established a creative relationship with the Iconic British fashion designer, Sir Paul Smith, painting a mural for him in NYC and will be working with him on multiple London projects in 2024. Carol Bennett spends all of her time surrounded by water, and a great deal within it. Her work is a meditative journey through both the water and through life. She is intrigued by how life continues to flow and change, being both in the moment and timeless. The viewer will experience being in a state “flow” – where the currents of the ocean suspend life and self, and the unexpected floats to the surface.
Carol's work has been featured in many solo and group exhibits throughout California, New York, Martha's Vineyard and Hawaii including a 2007 solo show at the First Hawaiian Center at the Contemporary Museum of Art (Honolulu) and a 2018 group show "Making Waves" exhibit at the Honolulu Museum of Art. Her work was seen alongside April Gornik, Agnes Martin, Kiki Smith, and Pat Steir. In 2019, she was also featured in exhibits at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center, the Hawaii State Art Museum and a solo exhibit at the Honolulu Museum of Art. She has been featured in Hamptons Cottages & Gardens, Ocean Home Magazine and the New York Times. Carol's artwork has also been featured in Designer Showhouses in Westchester NY and the Hamptons, and is part of public and private collections around the world.
