In this passionate trio of oil paintings, I've channeled the raw energy and vibrant hues of the setting sun over the water. This triptych contains of 3 works: «Evening Rest», «Nice Evening» and «Hot Evening». In this series you can see each painting separately. Each painting is on canvas 40/50 cm.
The work was created in the impressionism style with a palette knife on high- quality canvas, using environmentally friendly colors with natural pigment. Color on computer monitors may vary. The impasto painting style, achieved with a palette knife, gives the artworks incredible depth and texture. The artworks are framed. Signed back. Covered with UV varnish. Ready to hang. This Painting was presented in Zurich at the exhibition "Perfect Art Match" in the gallery «Peyer Fain Art» (13.12.2017), in Lausanne at the exhibition «Couleurs 18» Swiss Art Space Gallery (24.03.2018). And in Red Carpet Gallery in the world-famous Castle Gütsch, Lucerne (Switzerland), 03.11.2019.
This triptych captures the fleeting beauty of a sunset over the sea. Each of the three paintings, united by a common theme and color scheme, offers a unique view of this magical time of day.
The sun slowly sinks into the sea, painting the sky and water in incredible transitions of red, orange, purple and gold. The strokes of the palette knife, bold and expressive, convey the movement of the sky and the ripples on the water, creating a sense of dynamism and life. The sailboats, as if frozen in the rays of the setting sun, include a note of calm, serenity and quiet joy in the picture.

Vik Schroeder was born in Ukraine, based in Switzerland. Vik has 2 university degrees.
To study special art techniques Vik went to Spain, Germany and Italy.
Vik studied not only classical techniques of painting, but also modern ones. She likes to create bright unusual works in modern technology mix-media and encaustic.
Most of her oil paintings are created by a palette knife in the unique and remarkable style of mosaic painting in the Impressionist style. Vik Schroeder said that she likes to paint landscapes because our Earth is unique, it is the only planet in the solar system that has such a diversity of forms and stunning beauty of nature. Her paintings with beautiful nature images awaken a sense of gratitude to our creator for his fabulous gift to humanity.
Vik Schroeder actively participates in international art competitions and famous exhibitions. Her name is in the list of 150 artists who were included in the Art book CELEBRITY MASTERS (volume 4 -2023) directed by Salvatore Russo.
