Nataliya Bagatskaya
Together. Without words Original painting by Nataliya Bagatskaya

2023

About the Item

This painting is a finalist of the international art contest organised by Artbox project and was exhibited as finalists in Basel International airport during Art Basel week in 2024. In our bustling world, the beauty of having that one friend with whom words are not necessary lies in a connection that transcends verbal communication. This friend is more than a mere companion; they are a silent confidant, a presence that brings harmony to the world without the need for words. In a communication-cluttered world, such a friend is a rare gift. The longing for those moments persists as a yearning for the precious simplicity of relationships unburdened by the complexities of spoken language. Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian fine-grained cotton canvas tm Unico were used in the work. Finish - satin varnish. The ends are painted in the background color. Additional framing is not required. I called this series "Life in Avatar". Created on and shipped on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame. Painting is packed carefully in cardboard box with layers of bubble wrap to protect it.
