In creating this piece, I immersed myself in the fusion of expressionism, impressionism, and pop art to capture the dynamic spirit of a ballet dancer. With acrylic and oil, I layered textures and colors to convey the motion and emotion inherent in dance. The juxtaposition of the classical figure with the abstracted, vibrant backdrop emphasizes the timeless beauty of the art form and the modernity of its expression. This painting is a celebration of resilience and the transcendent power of the human spirit in the arts.
Nude
The beauty of a naked body is simply incredible! When I paint a picture with a naked woman, I have the feeling that I am painting space, the universe. I never cease to admire the curve of the neck, hips, feet and calves. Also, the look, smile and flowing hair covering the chest are very expressive !

"As a woman artist I’ve been preoccupied with the female form and imagery. My goal is to capture the nude’s relation to the surrounding space and the solitary moments.
My interest turned from depicting the space to depicting the atmosphere, and the feeling a woman adds to the environment: warmth, joy, a feeling of power and control, or the opposite – sadness, despair.
The human figure is more present than ever in my paintings."
