About the Item
Artist Comments
This piece is part of Voskan's ongoing series of abstract expressionist paintings. He spends many hours over multiple sessions creating each piece. Sometimes he will work on a painting for months or even years until he finds the right inspiration to complete the composition. "This piece is very intricate, using the colors of autumn to bring forth a mellow feeling," says Voskan.
About the Artist
When Voskan Galstian approaches a canvas, he does so with an open mind. "When I am creating art I tend to sever my mind from making decisions" he explains. His paintings show this intuitive process in their dynamic movement and unique color combinations. Voskan finds inspiration in abstract expressionism; in the vein of that style, he paints based on his deepest emotions. Many people have expressed that they feel a connection with his work - in some cases, it soothes them. When he's not making art, you can find Voskan traveling or reading about geography.
