About the Item
Artist Comments
An energetic abstract in layers of greens and purple with pops of yellow and peach. "This piece was created with texture to show the results of a long workday," says artist Voskan Galstian. "Without texture, it is hard to get a feel for the time and effort put into work. The green is the result of work that is put into our daily lives. This piece also represents the mundane of a typical workday."
About the Artist
When Voskan Galstian approaches a canvas, he does so with an open mind. "When I am creating art I tend to sever my mind from making decisions" he explains. His paintings show this intuitive process in their dynamic movement and unique color combinations. Voskan finds inspiration in abstract expressionism; in the vein of that style, he paints based on his deepest emotions. Many people have expressed that they feel a connection with his work - in some cases, it soothes them. When he's not making art, you can find Voskan traveling or reading about geography.
