Grineva was originally educated at the Stroganov Institute in her native Russia, earning both a bachelors degree and masters of fine art. Her subsequent studies at the National Academy of Design in NYC earned her extensive accolades including a scholarship to continue her studies in Florence, Italy, at the British Institute.
