About the Item

Substantial and symbolic oil painting titled "Future" by Nune Asatryan (b.1967). Strong symbolic image of a ship at sea and bold anchor and chain rising from the depths. A serpent flows between the textures and colors. Signed "Nune" lower right and "Nune Asatryan Future 2013" on Verso. After obtaining her Masters Degree in Fine Art in 1990, Nune was awarded 'First Prize' in the Final Phase Contest in Moscow, Russia. As a Consultant/Instructor at The Fine Arts Center of Englewood, New Jersey, she is also Member of the International Federation of Artists (IFA) and Member of the Artists Union of The Republic of Armenia. She accomplished Interior and Exterior Design Projects for Commercial, Industrial and Residential Installations. With 25 years of experience as a professional artist and designer, she participated as a jury member for the selection of nominees of the Best Artwork at the 7th Annual Student Exhibition - The Fine Arts Center - Englewood, NJ. Since 2006, she collaborates with and has a permanent exhibition at the InterArt Gallery - Prague, Czech Republic. Her paintings can be found in the Museum of Modern Art of Armenia, in the collection of the Government of Armenia, at the Paul Fisher Gallery in West Palm Beach, Florida and in private collections in Armenia, Russia, USA, Germany, Belgium, Canada, Iran, Lithuania and Poland.
