This is a super oil on canvas painting of a floral arrangement entitled "Gay Companions" of yellow, pink, red and white flowers in a blue bowl. The flowers are marigolds, dahlias and cosmos amongst others. This is a fine example of a Inter War Scottish Post Impressionist floral oil with good subject.
