About the Item

This exceptional artwork is currently on display and available for sale at Signet Contemporary Art Gallery and online. Embark on a celestial journey with Luigi Profeta's captivating masterpiece, "The Clouds of Jupiter." This original abstract painting, expertly crafted with mixed media on canvas, invites viewers to explore the mesmerizing landscapes of an otherworldly realm, where colors blend and dance in harmony. Profeta's artistic prowess unfolds on the canvas with a dynamic fusion of blues and dark greens, creating a celestial backdrop that mirrors the mysterious clouds swirling around the gas giant Jupiter. The textured landscapes, intricately detailed, evoke a sense of depth and movement, allowing the viewer to lose themselves in the ethereal expanse. Against the cosmic hues of blues and dark greens, a mystical golden light horizon emerges, reminiscent of the radiant glow that bathes distant planets in the vastness of space. The golden accents, thoughtfully integrated, infuse the composition with an otherworldly warmth, creating a stunning contrast against the cool tones and contributing to the painting's celestial allure. The carefully selected color scheme of blues, dark greens, and radiant golds creates a harmonious palette that resonates with cosmic energy. The interplay of these colors, combined with the textured landscapes and the golden horizon, transports viewers to a realm where imagination meets the wonders of the universe. Luigi Profeta's signature graces the canvas, a testament to the artist's connection to the work and a mark of its authenticity. "The Clouds of Jupiter" is not just a painting; it is a celestial symphony, an ode to the awe-inspiring beauty of the cosmos. For art enthusiasts seeking to bring the allure of distant worlds into their living spaces, this evocative piece is currently available for purchase at Signet Contemporary Art in Chelsea and online. Don't miss the opportunity to own a work of art that transcends the boundaries of the abstract, inviting you to gaze upon the celestial beauty of "The Clouds of Jupiter." Artist Biography: Luigi Profeta was born on July 13, 1969, and he currently works and lives in Cormano in Milan, Italy. Luigi’s oeuvre is defined by an exploration into light, geometry and colour which is investigated through various mediums including painting, sculpture and photography. Developing a natural propensity towards art from a young age, Luigi achieves a perfect union between different modes of expression that he has long enjoyed and practiced in. In 1939, the artist opened a knitwear workshop with his wife, Rosella, where he created his first drawings and paintings. Eager to engage with his artistic potential more, and encouraged to continue by the master Alfonso Madaluni, he decided to close the knitwear workshop and devote himself exclusively to art. Not long after, Luigi has a successful solo show, his debut exhibition, which launches his professional journey in the art world. Influenced by artists such as Kandinsky, who demonstrated geometric and compositional rigor, his works are pictosculptures, carefully studied and meditated. The works conceal the artist’s soul between shapes and colours. A cathartic soul seeks to externalize his emotions through collective psychology, that is, to speak not only of himself but of each of us. Luigi usitilises his photography experience to collaborate with private laboratories and national photographers. He is offered various works on commission that allows him to continue to cultivate the dream of painting. In 2004, he begins providing photography and paint classes for artists who wish to learn new techniques. Over the years, this has become a daily activity. He performs demonstrations in schools and kindergartens, in the same years. In 2013, he founded the Artistic Cultural Center Click Art, where he is president and art director. In 2015 he founded the artistic movement Psicoavanguardia. He has to his credit more than 200 personal and collective exhibitions. His works of art are in international collections including in Albania, Armenia, Belgium, France, Greece, Germany, Italy, Massachusetts, Netherlands, Spain, Swiss, and Taiwan.

It Is Right, It Should Be So, Abstract Expressionist Landscape

"It Is Right, It Should Be So" is a 44 x 56 inches, original, abstract landscape by American master colorist painter Al Lachman. The artwork is a gallery wrapped canvas, signed "Lachman" in the lower right. The artist puts his thumb upon the pulse of life and records it. In that mystical beat lies the unknown, and he would but make it known. Being both, innovator and spectator, he exists as an intrinsic part of that rhythm. Each painting begins with a premise, and I rarely use the same one twice. It is based on what I see and what I am feeling at that moment. I do not think that painting is about technique. It is about a particular perception of the world around us. The premise creates the periphery of my intent. It is a limitation that gives birth to the creative forces within. - Al Lachman Born in 1936 in the Bronx, NY, Alan Lachman...

"Landscapes of the Soul and of the Mind XIX " is a 44 x 56 inches, original, abstract landscape by American master colorist painter Al Lachman. The artwork is a gallery wrapped canvas, signed "Lachman" in the lower center. It is part of the artist's series "Landscapes of the Soul and of the Mind". The artist puts his thumb upon the pulse of life and records it. In that mystical beat lies the unknown, and he would but make it known. Being both, innovator and spectator, he exists as an intrinsic part of that rhythm. I try to approach each painting with a minimum of predigested information. I look at the world with the natural curiosity of a child, always looking for unique qualities that each new moment brings. Talent, I believe, is found in the ability to take risks, and with that in mind, I am continually willing to risk it all every time I paint. The most exciting paintings, for me, are the ones that balance a bold fresh approach with the sensitive and subtle workings of the heart and mind. - Al Lachman Born in 1936 in the Bronx, NY, Alan Lachman...
