In Bloom is an contemporary floral abstract painting by Texan artist Eleanor McCarthy. Eleanor McCarthy uses mixed media and acrylic paints on canvas to create the soothing colors in her new contemporary paintings that were just painted in 2022. Artist Commentary: Safe House is special to me because I was thinking a lot about the meaning, and feeling of "home" during the pandemic. I tried to show the solitary home as both a refuge, as well as a place of confinement. I wanted the space to feel both inviting yet uneasy at the same time.
