Laurie Barmore
I Found it on the Beach 3 - Contemporary Painting /Diverse Texture(Green+White)

2021

About the Item

"I Found it on the Beach 3" is an original acrylic painting by Washington-based artist Laurie Barmore. As in other works by Laurie Barmore, this piece is exploding with both directional and visual energy. The composition of greens, yellows, & reds seems to bloom in all directions, generating a feeling of infinite growth or infinite entropy. The red vein-like lines run through the middle of the painting, adding diversity in form that is very pleasing. It's a dazzling piece that will find itself standing out in any room or amount to any existing collection. From the artist: "It is these immaterial and internal ideas and feelings that I explore in my paintings. Creating is about paying attention to noticing the particular. I find my inspiration in poetry, nature, and the universal rhythms of life. I love that “things” can be metaphors for greater truths. I’m intrigued by the form, line, and patterns found in nature and of the story they tell. Not the obvious one that defines an object, but the narrative that portrays the intangible, the veiled, the mysterious. The way, for example, peeling bark tells me not merely about the tree or the nature of the bark but also about revelation, vulnerability, and transparency. As such, my paintings are about life; a blending of the external and internal, matter and spirit, observation and response." We will ship this via standard parcel boxed with internal support to maintain the integrity of the piece. The work will be fully insured during shipping. If you prefer a different method of shipping, inquire and we are happy to accommodate your requests. Our first priorities are our collectors' satisfaction and the artwork's safety in transit. If you are local to the San Francisco Bay Area, we will deliver for free. Handling time will be 2-3 business days, and shipping will be 2-5 business days from the date of order confirmation.
