"Evening Star" is an original contemporary painting by Laurie Barmore. With acrylic on canvas, this piece is a symphony of color. From the artist: "Movement is one of the defining characteristics of my work and the initial marks on the
canvas are gestural, connecting action with emotion as in lyrical dance or music. The second,
and all subsequent marks, are an intuitive response to the first. The composition evolves as I
work, building layers over the textured surface and using color to create a sense of depth."

Laurie Barmore
Laurie Barmore is a master of color and composition, her colors just jump off the canvas with the energy she infuses into her composition. She has shown her work in Art Festivals, juried exhibitions and restaurants. In 2017, Barmore was included in her first museum group show at the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara. Her work is in personal collections in California, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii and Canada.

Cabana A - Abstracted Urban Landscape of Tower at Milano Centrale Train Station

From its opening in 1931, Milano Centrale station was watched and worked by an army of more than 130 people in 7 different signal towers, 2 of which were of the bridge type across tracks. One of those towers is seen here in Albert Vidal's aptly titled work "Cabina A" - the closest of the switching towers to the main station. The loose, abstract brush strokes and warm color palette come together in this remarkable urban landscape painting. The bottom of the painting is marked with Vidal's signature - a series of numbers. The artist has carried the painting over the edges, thus allowing it to remain unframed. Alternate framing options can be discussed with the gallery.
