"We lead complex lives," states artist Karen Hansen. "And the tapestry we weave day-to-day is as varied as it is unique to each of us. In the end it all adds up to make us who we are, with the decisions we choose shaping it all. This is an abstraction of that weaving. It is a visual meditation on life."

About the Artist
Karen’s abstract paintings are best described as an exploration in color. Often monochromatic, her work is a meditative and serene improvisation in the movement and depth of paint.
