Cynthia Ligeros
Journey of Wonder, Abstract Oil Painting

2020

About the Item

Artist Comments
A contemplative abstract with undertones of the four seasons - spring blossoms, summer sun, the changing colors of fall and delicate snowfall. "Journey of Wonder was inspired by all of the thoughts and emotions that go through your mind as you walk through the changing seasons, observing how the landscape is transforming around you," says Cynthia. "You may be there in the present moment, but you're also in your own head, going deeper and deeper into your imagination, creating the things you want to see, wishing for what you want to happen, and manifesting your dreams."

About the Artist
Cynthia Ligeros creates abstract, complex works that usually begin with a single driving emotion. She currently lives in Colorado and loves the work of many artists, such as Mark Rothko. Cynthia loves finding inspiration in the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. If you look closely at any of her paintings, you can find a little bit of blue sky hidden somewhere.
