A piece that expresses his return to Sardinia ,( third return) in a more abstract form. An attempt to find an essence of the place without relying on topographical landscape pre sae. An amalgamation of experience in time and place. The filter that only one can express visually . Gradwell quoted saying: 'My language is the infinite possible with every glance and render. It's like Davis and Coltrane , you work the structure( place) and explore the possibilities: tonally , structurally and essentially the time allowed.'
