Edition of 364 copies including 14 original engravings by Chas Laborde. One of the rare copies on paper from Holland. Original editorial softcover.Copy in perfect conditions.The first edition of this book was published in 1911. The same year it was considered for the Prix Goncourt in 1911 but did not win.This illustrated edition including waters- strongholds of Laborde and is a perfect example of the artistic atmosphere of Paris at the beginning of the 20th century. His style was influenced by post-impressionism.
