English School Mid 19th Century Watercolour - The Field Worker

A very fine 19th-century watercolour study of a pretty young woman harvesting hay. In her hands, she holds a large scythe and a bundle of hay. Well presented in an ornate gilt effect frame. Inscribed on now discarded backing card by a later hand 'J Hedley 1866'. The watercolour is unsigned. On watercolour paper.
