Johnson Carper furniture was made during the 20th century. The company began manufacturing furniture in Roanoke, Virginia, in 1927. It remained in operation until 1979. During the intervening years, Johnson Carper became widely known for its Art Deco and mid-century modern designs. Some of its most famous lines include the Ronda, the Delray and the Brentwood.
