Was Jean Arp a Surrealist artist?
Yes, Jean Arp was a Surrealist artist. His work actually appeared in the first exhibition of the Surrealist group at the Galerie Pierre in Paris in 1925. The German-French sculptor, painter and poet was also associated with Dadaism. Some of his most famous works include Danger of Death, Human Concretion and Torn-Up Woodcut.
