Are Gladstone bags still made?
1 Answer

Yes, Gladstone bags are still made, but new designs rarely go by that name. Today, you will typically see them called doctor's bags. Medical professionals began using them to carry instruments and equipment at the end of the 19th century. Edward Cole patented the bag in 1854 and named it after former British Prime Minister William Gladstone. Find a selection of Gladstone bags on 1stDibs.
