The Oaks Waterfront Hotel

The transformation of The Oaks Waterfront Inn, the wedding venue and hotel located in Royal Oak, Maryland, includes a new lobby, modernization of the ballroom, guest suites, newly constructed guest cottages, and a new restaurant and bar – The Oak Room. The interior design, helmed by Carol Wheeler and Leigh Draper of Jamie Merida Interiors, features top-of-the-line choices including pieces from the Jamie Merida Collection for Chelsea House (see list below of additional vendors).

“We wanted to capture the inn’s rich history while updating it as a five-star property in a traditional-made-modern way,” said Jamie. “The spaces are reimagined with soft colors, new one-of-a-kind furnishings and an elegant look.”
